Terms & Conditions


1. Registration


1.1 All Nobleman Institute of Floral Design [NIFD] courses will only be accepted through formal registration.


1.2 All applications are subject to confirmation and NIFD will endeavour via email to notify applicants 10 working days before the scheduled commencement date of the course.


1.3 Registration is only confirmed upon full payment of course fees. Places are allocated based on a first-come-first-served basis with full payment made.


1.4 The registration form is to be completed by the course applicant.


1.5 The data provided to NIFD will be kept strictly confidential and will only be used for the purpose of course administration and for communication purposes.


2. Payment of Course Fees


2.1. Registration is only confirmed upon full payment of course fees before the commencement of the course. An applicant’s place is only confirmed upon receipt of payment.
Please note that as places in a course are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, payment of the course fees upon registration does not guarantee the applicant a place in the course.


2.2. Acceptable modes of payment are as follows:


a) For Cash payment, you can pay at Nobleman Institute of Floral Design Pte Ltd:

Make cheques payable to “Nobleman Institute of Floral Design Pte Ltd”. Please cross the cheque and write applicant name and contact number on the back of the cheque.

NIFD requires you to remit in Singapore currency in order to avoid not settling the fees in full due to differences in exchange of the foreign currency.

There will be a bank processing fee and other agent bank charges imposed when you make a Telegraphic Transfer. To ensure that the full amount of tax payable is remitted to NIFD, please instruct your bank that "Telegraphic Transfer/ other agent bank charges to be borne by the applicant" instead of the beneficiary. Otherwise, the amount remitted may not be sufficient to cover your course fees in full and NIFD will then need to recover any outstanding amount.

Any bank charges incurred have to be borne by the remitter.



3. Funding (if applicable)


Singaporeans/Permanent Residents (PR) may enjoy government funding for selected courses.


3.1 All applicants, individual and/or company-sponsored must attain a minimum attendance of 75% in the course, attempt all assessments and be certified competent in order to be eligible for the funding. Failing which the individual or the employer is liable to forfeiture of the grant and bear the full course fees.

The SSG Training Grant Number has to be indicated in the online course registration. Upon confirmation of the course, NIFD will confirm the enrolment with SSG.

3.2 SkillsFuture Credit (SFC)

Singaporeans above 25 years old will be able to utilise SFC for payment of selected courses. Students are responsible to submit their SFC claims via "MySkillsFuture" portal.

SFC claim cannot be used for Withdrawal Penalties. Refer to point 4 for the withdrawal policy.


4. Withdrawal and Deferment from Course


Deferment is not applicable for all our courses. Withdrawal notice must be made in writing to NIFD via email to info@noblemaninstitute.com

Students who wish to withdraw from the course after registration shall submit a Withdrawal Application Form to NIFD.

Students shall settle all outstanding bills with NIFD prior to withdrawal. The portion of course fee to be refunded is based on the submission date of Withdrawal Application Form as follows:

• On or after the date of commencement – No refund
• 2 weeks before the commencement of the course - A full refund of the paid course fee
• Less than 2 weeks before commencement of the course - 70% refund of the paid course fee

*Registration and administrative fee will not be refunded.

*Administration fee of S$50.00 will be charged for withdrawal.



5. Courses Cancellation, Changes, and Modifications


5.1 NIFD course schedules, including course trainer, course fees and course availability are subject to change.


5.2 NIFD reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course at short notice & at its absolute discretion without assigning any reason for such cancellation/postponements. In the event that the applicant’s chosen course is cancelled prior to its commencement, NIFD will make a full refund of course fees already paid by the applicant.



6. Appeal


6.1. Students who wish to:

i) Appeal against a “not-yet-competent” results

ii) Request to the print letter of certification/ transcripts/ student cards

       shall submit an Appeal Form to NIFD.


6.2. Students shall pay a non-refundable administrative fee of $50.00.



7. Non-attendance


7.1. Non-attendance at classes due to reasons other than our default does not entitle you to refunds extra classes or a transfer. There will be strictly no replacement lessons for classes

7.2. If, for reasons outside your reasonable control [such as illness] you miss classes; we will use our reasonable endeavours to offer you additional support, subject to you paying our additional charges



8. Statement of Attainment


Statement of Attainment will be issued to students who have achieved at least 75% attendance. All students will have to sign the attendance list for every lesson they attend.



9. Limited Liability Clause


NIFD, officers, agents, and employees shall not be liable for any loss, damages and/or injury, including loss of life, which students of our courses may suffer arising out of or in connection with our courses, whether the loss, damage and/or injury was suffered on any of NIFD premises or at any other venue(s) in connection with our courses.



10. Data Protection/ Intellectual Property


10.1 We will only use the personal information you give us: to help us provide Courses and to inform you about similar Courses unless you tell us that you do not want to receive this information.


10.2 All rights title and interest in any copyright that is created in any coursework by you whilst on a Course will vest in you upon creation but you hereby grant NIFD unlimited worldwide, royalty-free, exclusive license to photograph, exhibit, archive and reproduce images of their coursework (including, but not limited to brochures, calendars, catalogues, greeting cards and websites).


10.3. The contents of our Website are protected by international copyright laws and other intellectual property rights. NIFD is the owner or the duly authorised licensee of such copyright and all intellectual property rights in the mark “Nobleman Institute of Floral Design Pte Ltd”. You may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute by any means or in any manner any material or information on or downloaded from our Website without our permission.



11. Photography and Videos


11.1 During the course you may take as many photographs of your work as you wish. We would ask you not to use the work of other people on your own website without their permission. You are not permitted to take videos at the NIFD.



12. Health and Safety


12.1 Students are expected to follow the health and safety guidelines given at the start of each course.



13. Additional Information on the Course Fee


In addition to the course fee, the following fees are payable:

· Registration Fee: $50 (one-time, non-refundable)

· Admin Fee (non-refundable):

  • $50 per module or
  • $50 (one-time sign-up) of all modules for the level
